The Q-SYS Dante input / output card provides a means of receiving and transmitting to and from other Dante enabled devices on a Dante network.
Property |

Choices |
---|---|---|
Input/Output Count |
Determines the number of input and output channels. |
2x2 4x4 8x8 16x16 32x32 64x64 |
Dante Sample Rate (kHz) |
Sets the Sample rate. Available choices are dependent on the selected Input/Output Count. |
44.1 48 88.2 96 |
Dante Receive Latency (milliseconds) |
This setting defines the latency between the timestamps on the incoming audio samples and when those samples are played out. |
0.15 0.25 0.5 1 5 |
External Configuration |
Determines whether Dante card configuration is allowed by an external program, such as Dante Controller:
|
Yes / No |
Each control listed in the Dante and Digital sections, are one per channel.

Status |
Displays the current status of the amplifier both in text and color. The following is a list of possible status colors, and some example conditions. Note: These conditions are examples, and may not be applicable to all components with a Status field. OK – Green – (0) – Audio is good, hardware is good. Compromised – Orange – (1) – Audio is good but a redundancy mechanism is active (one LAN down but the other is still up) or a non-fatal hardware problem exists (fans too slow, temperature higher than expected, etc.) Fault – Red – (2) – Audio is not passing, or hardware is malfunctioning or mis-configured (amplifier power off, audio streams broken, wrong type of I/O Card installed, loudspeaker short circuit, etc.) Missing – Red – (3) – A piece of hardware, defined in the design, has not been discovered. Audio is not passing through that piece of hardware. Initializing – Blue – (5) – In the process of firmware, configuration update, and design start. Audio is obviously bad. Not Present – Gray – A virtual component in the design, that is designated as Dynamically Paired, and Not Required ,has no hardware assigned to it. |
