Use the HID Media Control component to control media application playback, including volume level, on a remote PC or Mac computer connected to a Q-SYS Core 110f processor.
Note: This is a BETA component. Though it is functional, it is not feature complete and is subject to change.
To use the HID Media Control, you need a USB A/B cable to connect a PC or Mac computer to the Q-SYS Core 110f processor.
Note: The HID Media Control is designed to control a remote, Q-SYS Core-connected computer from another Q-SYS-connected device (computer, touch screen controller, etc.). The component should not be used directly from the computer connected to the Core, as unexpected behavior can occur.
Note: The Core-connected computer's OS determines which media application is controlled.
This component has no configurable properties.
