Use the Reflect page in Q-SYS Core Manager to test your Q-SYS Core's ability to connect to the Reflect servers. A successful test indicates that your Core has a valid connection for future monitoring with Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager.
Enterprise Manager requires that your Q-SYS Core can access the Internet. If your network topology allows it, provide Internet connectivity via the LAN-B or AUX network interfaces.
Note: Only one network interface on any network device, including the Q-SYS Core, should be configured with a Gateway. Consult your IT administrator if you need assistance.
Enterprise Manager requires that you enable NTP to sync the Q-SYS Core's time and date to an NTP server. Consult your IT administrator for an appropriate server. Alternatively, you could use public NTP servers such as those provided by Google (time1.google.com and time2.google.com).
Enable Access Control for the Q-SYS Core you will be managing with Enterprise Manager.
For network security reasons, use Network Services to disable all unnecessary services on the LAN interface with Internet access.
Note: The Q-SYS Core uses an outbound connection on port 443 (HTTPS and WSS) to connect with the Q-SYS Reflect cloud. Since this is a standard IT device connection, additional network or firewall configuration should not be necessary.
Note: If you see any errors, check with your IT administrator to ensure your connection is configured properly.
