CXD-Q Network Amplifiers
The CXD-Q line includes seven models, three four channel (CXD4.2Q, CXD4.3Q and CXD4.5Q), and four eight channel (CXD8.4Q, CXD8.4Qn, CXD8.8Q, CXD8.8Qn). All these amplifiers are capable of delivering robust, high-fidelity power to drive a wide range of loudspeaker configurations including 70V and 100V systems. The “Q” models offer mic/line inputs into the Q-SYS ecosystem, while the “Qn” eight channel models provide no analog inputs thereby reducing the overall system cost. By simply connecting the amplifiers via standard Layer 3 Ethernet, the Q-SYS Core can route audio to/from the amps, as well as provide total control and monitoring of all amplifier functions. Flexible Amplifier Summing Technology™ (FAST) is available on all models and allows the integrator to combine one, two, three or up to four amplifier channels together for maximum current and/or voltage output.
Note: This topic provides an overview of CXD-Q amplifiers. For installation instructions, see the CXD-Q Series 4-Channel User Manual or CXD-Q Series 8-Channel User Manual.
- Seamless Q-SYS integration with audio transport and control via standard Gigabit Ethernet protocols and hardware.
- Capable of providing up to 5,000 W continuous and 8,000 W peak with 70V / 100V direct drive on the CXD4.3Q and CXD4.5Q.
- Flexible Amplifier Summing Technology™ (FAST) permits total amplifier power to be distributed across one, two, three or all four channels.
- PowerLight universal switchmode power supply with PFC for highest effiency, improved audio performance, and low weight.
- Mic/Line input Euroblock connectors and touch-proof Euroblock loudspeaker connections.
- Eight bi-directional GPIO connections that can be used for analog or digital inputs or outputs to/from Q-SYS.
- Built-in energy saving modes ensure that the amplifier will draw the minimum amount of AC power while still providing outstanding audio quality.
