Status (I/O-8 Flex)
The Q-SYS I/O-8 Flex Channel Expander adds several expansion capabilities to the Q-SYS platform.
- Eight flex channels (software configurable as either a Mic/Line input with phantom power, or a Line Level output)
- Audio-to-USB Bridging for integration with soft-codec applications for host PC
- Control connectivity via GPIO and RS232
- Versatile mounting accessories included
- PoE+ or external power supply (not included)
The I/O-8 Flex Status component provides the current status for network (LAN A , LAN B), clocking, power (PoE or Aux Power), and backup equipment. The Status component provide the configuration properties for the I/O-8 Flex.

When the ID / Identify button, in the Q-SYS Designer Status component, or the Configurator's Network Configuration for the hardware, or on the physical hardware is pressed, the ID buttons in the Configurator and Status component flash, and the LCD on the physical Hardware flashes to indicate the association between the three. The indicators will flash for 5 minutes unless you stop them by pressing any one of the buttons. |

Status |
Displays color-coded messages indicating the current status of the active I/O-8 Flex. Component status is conveyed with the Status LED and Status box, which uses both color and text to indicate the current condition:

Suppress button |
