The Q-SYS UC Integration License for Microsoft Teams Rooms is designed to streamline integration of Q-SYS with Microsoft Teams Rooms. Unlike other licenses that must be purchased for specific Core models, this single license may be applied to any Q-SYS Core processor to enable a subset of Q-SYS control functionality aimed at the needs of a single room collaboration system. Note: There is a known issue in Q-SYS Designer Software that prevents the PL-LA line array component from displaying the correct number of pins to coincide with the number of array segments in the properties menu. We are working on a fix in the coming weeks and will send further communication when that is ready.

Q-SYS version 9.10 adds support for the AD-C4T-ZB, AD-C4T-LPZB, AD-C6T-ZB, and AD-C6T-LPZB Zero Bezel ceiling mount loudspeakers. All are available from the Inventory within the Loudspeakers - High-Z and PoE category.

When verbosity is enabled, QIO, NL, and NM Series audio devices display additional Audio Stream details in their respective controls, including ID, Connection State, DSCP, and packet counts (accept, drop, missing, late).

To ensure a safer and more secure environment, we have disabled HTTP access, and moving forward, we will exclusively support HTTPS connections.

Q-SYS Designer Software v9.10 introduces "Quiet Mode" for QIO Audio devices. This feature intelligently maintains fan silence for conference room applications when temperatures remain at or below 35°C.

The component control for "Mute All" on the SPA-Q is now the same as the CX-Q. It is now master.mute instead of mute.all.

Q-SYS Designer v9.10 introduces the capability of dual streaming on the NV-21-HU. When in encoder mode, this allows the NV-21-HU HDMI and USB-C inputs to receive video simultaneously and transmit over the network via Q-SYS Shift. Q-SYS v9.10.0 provides the ability to define background-color, and multiple background-image, background-size and background-position's in the background property.

• Comma separated images, optional position/size.
• Images must be linear-gradient() or url().
• Position and size defined with same rules as background-position, background-size.
• Forward slash character / must separate position and size.

Q-SYS Designer v9.10 introduces the default option to periodically auto-save your design changes. Q-SYS Designer will automatically save your work every 5 minutes. You can remove this default option, and change the save timeout by selecting File > Preferences and changing it to Off. Visit Preferences for more information.

Note: Only design files with unsaved changes are auto-saved during each period. Recovery files are saved in c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\QSC\Q-SYS Designer\Recovery.

In Q-SYS Designer version 9.10, updates have been made to the Monitoring Proxy component to increase its flexibility during run-time.

With version 9.10, updates to the Block and Text Controller includes a feature that makes designing your control interfaces even more flexible. Now, with Control Panel Pages, you can organize your controls into one or more custom tabs inside the controller itself, and these tabs are stored along with it. Q-SYS Designer version 9.10 introduces extra UCI Toolbox elements, incorporating a comprehensive range of UI tools into the user experience. For more information, visit Working with the Toolbox.

Ping and pong are simple lightweight messages that can keep a WebSocket connection alive. You send a ping command, and the server responds with a pong. For more information, see WebSocket Protocol.

Q-SYS Designer version 9.10 introduces a 'Start Automatically' Property to Block Controller, Text Controller, and Control Script that allows you to have more control over when a script component starts running.

• When the property is set to yes (Default), the script will start when entering emulation mode or when loading a design to a core.
• When the property is set to no, the script will not start when entering emulation or loading a design to a core.

All devices, including Peripherals, display important information in their respective Inventory Columns, such as Status, Name, Type, Model, Manufacturer, etc. For more information, visit Inventory.

Administrators may now designate minimum password lengths, password complexity requirements, limit login attempts and more in order to comply with their organization's security policies.

Note: Updating to v9.10 will migrate the user database to a more secure password storage format that is not backwards compatible. If the system is subsequently downgraded to an earlier version, Access Control will be disabled and User Accounts will be lost. For more information, see Downgrade Notices.

Q-SYS Designer v9.10 introduces a feature on the Utilities page of Core Manager that allows users to toggle on or off the preference for the old authentication method in Q-SYS Designer. This option provides flexibility, enabling the choice whether to downgrade to earlier versions of the authentication method based on preferences and requirements. It is disabled by default and is not persistent.
