What's New in Q-SYS 10.1

Version 10.1.0 was released November 20, 2025, and includes these updates and resolved issues.

New Product Support

The NC-90-G2 is the next-gen network ePTZ camera that combines onboard AI with enhanced optics to deliver an automated collaboration experience in smaller, wider collaboration spaces. Driven by the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform, the NC Series integrate seamlessly into any Q-SYS system, allowing for easy camera feed routing anywhere on the network without the need for complicated programming or video matrix hardware. These camera video feeds are delivered to any modern video conferencing applications via any Q-SYS AV bridging peripheral.

The NC-Pro15x expands the Q-SYS camera portfolio to bring broadcast-quality video to high-impact spaces that require elevated production-grade elements. Built by Canon, the NC-Pro15x is a network PTZ camera that delivers smooth and responsive pan, tilt, and zoom performance to enhance the VisionSuite Presenter Spotlight experience. Driven by the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform, the NC Series integrate seamlessly into any Q-SYS system, allowing for easy camera feed routing anywhere on the network without the need for complicated programming or video matrix hardware. These camera video feeds are delivered to any modern video conferencing applications via any Q-SYS AV bridging peripheral.

The Q-SYS QIO Series network audio expanders enable interoperability with non-networked audio I/O to expand the power of Q-SYS across more devices. The QIO-ML24i, QIO-L24o and QIO-24f address the I/O needs of larger systems with a single peripheral rather than multiple smaller devices, making them ideal for applications such as event productions, large hospitality installations, paging systems, judicial spaces and more.

  • QIO-24f: Eight (8) mic/line level inputs, eight (8) software-definable Flex channels and eight (8) line level outputs.

  • QIO-ML24i: Twenty-four (24) mic/line level inputs.

  • QIO-L24o: Twenty-four (24) line level outputs.

Platform

Q-SYS Library replaces Asset Manager as a one-stop cloud-based hub for verified ready-to-use assets such as Q-SYS plugins, UCI templates, and sample designs.

Introducing the ability to add bulk items to the Inventory. Holding the control key while selecting your inventory item opens a dialog box to enter the desired quantity. Prior versions supported adding only one inventory item at a time.

New Platform-Level Horizontal Scrolling introduces seamless, consistent horizontal scrolling across the Q-SYS Designer application, including all schematic pages, containers, and script editors—both VSCode-based and Legacy script editors. You can scroll horizontally using native touchpad gestures, Shift + mouse wheel, drag the scroll bar with a mouse or arrow keys, or use devices with horizontal scroll support. This enhancement ensures scrolling behavior matches standard applications, delivering an intuitive navigation experience.

Audio, Video, Control

The new Remote Zone Groups paging feature introduces the ability to configure Remote Zone Groups using Remote Destination Tags. This feature conveniently allows a single-button within the Virtual Page Station and PS-TSCG3 Mic/Control components, to trigger paging across a group of remote zones, simplifying complex paging scenarios. Traditional zone tags maintain their functionality and work alongside Remote Destination Tags.

SDP construction and parsing have been enhanced to ensure better compliance with ST 2110-30 standards, improving reliability and interoperability with supported devices and systems.

You can now set Media Clock Offset, Media Type, and Payload Type parameters in Manual mode, giving you greater control and precision for ST 2110 (Audio) workflows.

NMOS network settings now update automatically whenever server configurations change or the server restarts, delivering stronger system integrity.

Added in v10.0, Face Focus is a new AI-powered option for NC-PTZ cameras. This feature, part of the AF Zone Focus Control, is selectable in both emulation and runtime modes and uses AI to automatically detect faces within the camera's field of view, maintaining precise focus on a single person as they move within the frame. When enabled, the system automatically disables HDMI/SDI outputs to allow the camera's AI to deliver the best focus performance.

Control widths in the Text Controller are now standardized for a clean, consistent column alignment and added index numbers above the columns provide additional visual clarity and organization.

TSC-50-G3 units shipping March 2026 and later (estimated) will include a new 5" display. These units require QDS v10.1 (minimum) and cannot be downgraded below v10.1.

Management

The Secure Communication Configuration interface has been moved from a tab within Network > Certificates for more efficiency—now located on its own dedicated page within Network in Core Manager—making access faster and management more intuitive.

The ability to Clear Events from the Event Log in Core Manager (and Reflect) is now limited to users with the Administrator role having Event Log Full Access rights.

This enhancement provides Administrators with improved controls for managing access and enforcing security policies in both Core Manager and Reflect.
